The Vikings were fearce warriers and accomplished seamen. There are historical indications that they were walking on the shores of the "New World" hundereds of years before Columbus. This sword is an authentic representation of their preferred weapon.

It features a double edge blade, hand forged out of high carbon steel and then  polished to a brilliant lustre.  The wooden handle is covered in leather and is supported by a simple,elegant guard and an equally handsom 5 lobed pommel.  Both guard and pommel feature tradional Celtic knot decorative embellishments. Wood scabbard covered in black leather and reinforced with a highly polished steel chape and throat.
